Ryan Sanchez is the acting Program Manager/Health Educator for the Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention Program at the New Mexico Department of Health. He has been with the Department of Health since last year, having previously worked in the nonprofit sector. He is excited for the increased collaboration over the next few years between his program and the Diabetes Prevention and Control Program and the opportunity to work with priority populations in New Mexico under the shared CDC 1815 grant. Originally from San Diego, Ryan has called Albuquerque home for over 15 years. He received his MPH from the University of New Mexico
